History
[edit | edit source]FrizWoods was established by Max Frizalone and Luke Woods after the two attorneys had previously worked together as public defenders. Their earlier work included criminal cases involving serious felony charges. Woods later brought Frizalone to a private law firm, where they continued to work together on criminal defense matters. In January 2022, they established FrizWoods as a boutique criminal defense firm serving clients throughout Maryland.
The firm's practice is focused exclusively on criminal and related traffic defense. According to FrizWoods, its attorneys represent clients at different stages of the criminal justice process, from initial appearances and investigations through negotiations, hearings, and trials.

Luke Woods Luke Woods is a co-founder of FrizWoods and a criminal defense attorney. Luke Woods has more than 20 years of experience in Maryland criminal courts. Before founding FrizWoods, he worked as a public defender and later practised with Frizalone at a private criminal defense firm. His practice includes criminal trials, felony litigation, motions, and other criminal proceedings.
